Cajun “Swamp Gas” Chili

   Pretty quick and easy recipe from cajun country. Hope you Enjoy !

 

Ingredients:

 

3lb Ground Meat (half beef/half pork best can even sub in half deer/half pork)

3 – cups of water

1 – cups green peppers (diced)

2 – cups red onion (diced)

2 – cups celery (diced)

2 – green onions (diced)

1/4 – cup jalapeno peppers (diced)

1 – teaspoon black pepper

2 – teaspoon cumin

2 – teaspoon ground mustard powder

4 – tablespoons of Chili powder

3 – teaspoons of Louisiana Hotsauce (can sub any cajun seasoning blend and adjust to taste)

1/4 – cup worcestershire sauce

1 – can of tomatoe paste (8 oz)

1/4 – cup of Molasses

1 – cup of cooking wine

 

 

 

Directions:

 

Brown the three cups of meat in a pan making sure to drain any excess fat. Take all vegetables and in same pan as meat was browned in , saute for 10-12 minutes on medium heat. Then add in your liquids and spices along with the browned meat. Let this simmer over medium/high heat for about 2 hours. Ready to Serve !
